General Features
Magnetic overband separators are suspended above the conveyor belt carrying the bulk material to be filtered. The overband is suitable for removing all types of ferrous material in many industries, including recycling, mining, cement, chemicals, plastics and aggregates.
This equipment is designed for continuous operation in highly demanding working environments. It is individually engineered for each application according to the type and flow rate of the product to be filtered and the space available for installation. The magnetic system requires little maintenance and has a robust design for long service life. Different magnetic configurations ensure optimum performance in every project.
Unlike magnetic plates, overband magnetic separators require no manual intervention to clean the magnetic unit.
The option of equipping them with an electric or hydraulic motor facilitates integration into mobile separation equipment.
