General Features
MAGBOX PLAST Magnet System Features
- Exceptional magnetic strength of up to 1370 mT (13700 gauss)
- Ergonomic, balanced handling
- Easy-clean feature
- Robust stainless steel construction (AISI 304) with a protective frame for the magnetic tubes
- Accessories and special versions
Performance Features
MAGBOX-MXP inline magnets are integrated into pipelines using flat flanges, Jacob connections, or customer-specific connections. The robust stainless steel construction (AISI 304) provides the highest level of corrosion protection and wear resistance. Versions with a single grid or high-temperature magnets are available on request.
All MAGBOX system versions are equipped with magnetic grids featuring removable magnetic cores (easy cleaning), which significantly simplify and speed up system cleaning. For applications in the food or pharmaceutical industries, the MAGBOX Food version is available with a higher-grade stainless steel housing (AISI 316L) and improved surface finishes.
Functions
As standard, the MAGBOX-MXP inline magnet is equipped with two neodymium magnetic grids arranged one above the other to achieve the highest possible level of separation.
Main Components
- Two magnetic grids with high-energy neodymium magnetic material
- Robust stainless steel construction
- Version with an Easy-Clean feature
Typical Application Areas
The MAGBOX-MXP inline magnet is primarily used for the efficient separation of fine and ultrafine ferrous metal contaminants from powdered and granular bulk materials in (existing) pipeline systems.
