Magnetic Separation Systems
General Features
Magnetic pulleys are highly efficient separation systems for removing ferrous contamination from many different materials such as aggregates, plastic granules, municipal waste and more. They are particularly suitable for continuous operation in demanding environments.
Magnetic pulleys are installed at the discharge end of the conveyor belt.
They can be installed as a drive unit or rotated by the movement of the conveyor belt. For improved traction, the magnetic pulley can optionally be coated with PVC rubber to increase belt grip.
They are manufactured in a wide range of diameters and lengths. The central shaft is designed according to customer requirements and can be welded or removable using locking assemblies.
This equipment requires minimal maintenance. Depending on each installation, the magnetic section can consist of neodymium or ferrite magnets in different configurations.
