Bandera VOCs & Odor Removal is an advanced process technology developed to remove moisture, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and unwanted odors from recycled plastic pellets.
The system is particularly designed to reduce volatile components and odors that can negatively affect pellet quality during the processing of heterogeneous and contaminated PCR materials.

This configuration enables VOC, moisture and odor removal to be carried out during pellet production.
Off-Line VOC and Odor Removal
The system can also be used as an independent unit for processing previously produced PCR pellets.
This allows pellets in storage or obtained from different recycling lines to undergo VOC and odor removal whenever required.
In-line and off-line operation options provide different integration alternatives according to the process configuration of the production facility.
Compact and Horizontal Design
The Bandera XTRACT system features a horizontal layout.
This design provides a significant advantage particularly in production facilities with limited available height. Its compact structure can also facilitate integration into an existing production line.
Bandera has also designed the system with a modular structure that allows additional modules to be added when required to increase capacity and process time.
Effective Operation with Short Process Times
The VOCs & Odor Removal system is designed to perform the stripping process even with short residence times.
Process time can be configured according to the XTRACT model used and the targeted level of VOC/moisture removal.
