PROTECTOR PROFESSIONAL Metal Detection System Features

Function
Even the smallest metal particles in plastic melt cause costly breakdowns during injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. With the increasing use of granules and reground materials, the proportion of this type of metal contamination continues to rise. Clogged nozzles, filters, and hot runner systems frequently cause production losses, downtime, and delayed deliveries.
The PROTECTOR PROFESSIONAL metal separator is installed directly above the material inlet of an injection molding machine, extruder, or blow molding machine. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminants (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.), even when embedded in the product. Metal contaminants are automatically and reliably separated by the rejection unit ("Quick Valve").
The special design of the PROTECTOR PROFESSIONAL guarantees the highest detection sensitivity for even the smallest mechanical particles, even under high mechanical loads, such as when various conveying, dosing, mixing, or feeding units are used simultaneously. Its design with an integrated reinforced frame ensures that the high-performance detection unit remains completely unaffected by vertical mechanical forces.
