Idemag Magnetic Hump Separators are magnetic separation systems developed to remove iron and ferromagnetic contaminants from industrial systems where raw material flows freely under gravity.
The systems can be adapted to both round and rectangular pipelines. They remove contaminants of different sizes from the product stream, from fine metal particles to larger ferromagnetic pieces.
As the product passes through the magnetic hump housing under gravity, the flow is directed toward the surfaces of the magnetic plates. The powerful magnetic field captures iron-containing particles, allowing the clean product to continue through the production line.
This design provides continuous magnetic protection without interrupting the production process and helps improve final product purity.

The magnetic hump system can optionally be equipped with an inspection window. This window allows the separation performed by the magnetic plates to be observed quickly and easily.
