Magnetic Separation Systems
General Features
The magnets are arranged in an internal circuit around an iron support protected by an external stainless-steel shell.
This protective shell, which can be produced in different thicknesses, gives the equipment the physical robustness required for products with large particle sizes. Depending on the product to be processed, the selected magnets can be ferrite or neodymium, with several grades available for each type.
The inner section containing the magnets, covering approximately 65% of the drum circumference, remains stationary. The outer shell rotates to carry the ferrous material toward the designated discharge point.
The drive mechanism is sized according to the weight of the unit and can optionally be equipped with a frequency inverter. The geared motor can be replaced quickly and easily; we use leading brands that conform to current market standards.
