Idemag Magnetic Cone Filters are magnetic filtration systems developed to effectively separate nuts, screws, staples and other iron-containing foreign materials from raw materials conveyed through pipelines.
They are particularly suitable for production lines processing grain, flour, sugar and similar products in powder or granular form.
The system uses a conical magnetic concentrator with high magnetic intensity positioned at the center of a stainless-steel housing.
As the raw material passes through the filter, the powerful magnetic field attracts ferromagnetic particles and retains them on the magnetic core. The product, free from metal contamination, continues to flow through the pipeline.
The magnetic concentrator at the center of the filter can be equipped with ceramic ferrite magnets or high-power neodymium rare-earth magnets according to the application's requirements.
The magnetic-intensity level is selected according to the characteristics of the product to be filtered and the process requirements.
Magnetic cone filters can be installed directly between existing pipelines conveying the raw material. Their compact design enables fast and easy integration into new or existing production systems.
The magnetic core is positioned inside the filter's hinged cover. This design provides easy access to the magnetic surfaces and allows accumulated metal particles to be cleaned quickly.
