General Features

EXTRACTOR Magnet System Features

  • Maximum magnetic performance with 800 mT (8000 gauss) at the effective surface
  • Stainless steel housing (AISI 304)
  • Neodymium magnetic rods with an easy-to-clean design
  • Arranged in a triangular matrix
  • Robust design
  • Low installation height (165 mm)

Performance Features
The EXTRACTOR-SE magnet system is equipped with three neodymium magnetic rods arranged in a triangular matrix to ensure the best possible contact between the product and the magnet. Superior ease of use and cleaning are just a few of the other positive features of this magnetic separator.

The low installation height (165 mm) and customer-specific connection dimensions make equipment upgrades easier. The magnetic separator has an extremely robust design and can withstand static loads of up to 500 kg (shear loads of up to 50 kg).

Thanks to its special design, the EXTRACTOR-SE prevents any accumulation of plastic granules (this feature is particularly important when changing colors or materials). The EXTRACTOR-SE magnet system can be easily integrated into any system using adapter plates. An interchangeable transition ring allows installation with all inlet sizes up to 120 mm in diameter without requiring any changes to the design of the EXTRACTOR-SE.

Functions
With a magnetic strength of 800 mT (8000 gauss) at the effective surface, ferromagnetic particles are reliably separated, reducing costly repairs and system downtime.

Typical Applications
The EXTRACTOR-SE inline magnet has been specially developed for applications in the plastics industry. It is designed to inspect various granules with particle sizes up to 8-10 mm in slow-moving material columns at temperatures up to 80°C.
