Bandera HDB FLEX® – Heavy Duty FFS Film Extrusion Line
Bandera HDB FLEX® comprises high-performance blown film extrusion lines used for Heavy Duty Bags and FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) applications.
HDB FLEX® has been developed particularly for film applications requiring high performance in terms of mechanical properties, sealability, processability and printability. Depending on the HDB size, line production capacity can reach up to 450 kg/h.
High Performance for Heavy Duty Bags
In heavy duty bags, in addition to the mechanical strength expected from the film, sealability, processability and print quality also play an important role in final product performance.
Bandera HDB FLEX® is configured with dedicated solutions at different stages of the film production process to meet these requirements.
High Production Capacity
HDB FLEX® has been developed to meet the current demand of heavy duty film manufacturers for higher production capacities at lower film thicknesses.
Depending on the HDB size, the system can reach a production capacity of up to 450 kg/h.
Triple-Flow Cooling Ring
One of the key technologies of Bandera HDB FLEX® is the Triple-Flow Cooling Ring system.
Working together with Bandera-designed extrusion heads, this cooling system has been developed to increase production capacity in the blown film process.
This configuration contributes to optimizing line performance in heavy duty film applications where high production speeds are required.
Special Haul-Off Unit with Film Cooling
The special haul-off units used in HDB FLEX® operate together with an advanced film cooling system.
This configuration contributes to producing a smoother, wrinkle-free film surface, particularly at high production speeds.
Integrated Thickness Control
Maintaining film thickness under control throughout production is important for ensuring consistent product quality in heavy duty bag production.
HDB FLEX® lines feature an integrated thickness control system. The system helps maintain controlled production conditions and manage film thickness according to target values.
Fully Automatic Winding System
Fully automatic winding systems can be used for film winding on HDB FLEX® lines.
Bandera's solution offers contact winding or axial winding options. The winding system can be selected in an appropriate configuration according to production requirements.
