Bandera Industrial Sheet® – Industrial Sheet Extrusion Lines
Bandera Industrial Sheet comprises complete Flat Die extrusion lines customized according to the customer's final product requirements for the production of plastic sheets for various industrial applications. From single or twin-screw extruders and Flat Die systems to calendering systems, lamination and cutting units, all components of the production line can be configured according to the characteristics and application area of the sheet to be produced.
In addition to industrial sheets, Bandera's Industrial Sheet technology provides dedicated solutions for applications such as furniture, optical sheets, lenticular sheets, geomembranes, waterproofing membranes, automotive products and solar panels.
Flexible Line Configuration for Industrial Sheet Production
Bandera customizes Industrial Sheet lines according to different production requirements. Line configurations can include single or twin-screw extruders, single or multi-manifold Flat Dies, different calender arrangements and downstream equipment with various levels of automation.
Extrusion systems can also be configured to incorporate mineral fillers in granule or powder form into the process when required.
Single or Twin-Screw Extrusion Technology
Depending on the raw material and technical characteristics of the product to be manufactured, single-screw or co-rotating twin-screw extrusion technologies can be used.
Bandera HVTSE® twin-screw extrusion technology can be used particularly in applications involving different raw materials and requiring high mixing performance. Solutions developed for raw materials such as PET and ABS-PMMA in furniture applications offer advantages including reduced drying and dehumidification processes, processing flexibility for different raw materials and rapid color/recipe changes.
Flat Die and Multi-Manifold Technology
Industrial Sheet lines can use single or multi-manifold Flat Dies depending on production requirements.
In applications involving multilayer or composite structures, the die configuration can be specifically designed according to the product structure and materials used.
High-Performance Calendering Systems
Bandera Industrial Sheet lines can use calendering systems in vertical, inclined or horizontal configurations.
The calendering unit is configured as one of the key process components of the line according to the sheet's surface characteristics, thickness distribution and final product requirements.
Lamination and Composite Sheet Production
Bandera also provides lamination systems for the production of composite structures in which plastic sheets are combined with different materials.
Depending on the application, plastic films, textile materials, synthetic meshes and reinforcement layers can be integrated into the sheet structure.
This technology can be used for automotive applications, waterproofing membranes and various technical composite products.
Furniture Sheets and Films
Bandera HVTSE® twin-screw extrusion technology can be used for sheet and film applications requiring high-quality surfaces in the furniture industry.
Typical raw materials include PET and ABS-PMMA. Production advantages targeted in these applications include reducing drying and dehumidification processes, processing different raw materials and enabling rapid color/recipe changes.
Optical Sheet Extrusion Lines
Bandera provides dedicated sheet extrusion solutions for processing raw materials such as PC, PMMA, PET-G, PS-K and SAN in applications where optical properties are critical.
These lines can be configured for architectural and technical applications requiring high transparency, gloss and controlled optical distortion.
Lenticular Sheet Production
For lenticular sheets, both the sheet design and the components of the extrusion line must be configured with high precision to correctly form the micro-lens structure.
Bandera provides dedicated extrusion and calendering solutions for lenticular sheet production using materials such as PET-G, PMMA, PC and PS-K.
High-Thickness Industrial Sheets
Bandera Industrial Sheet technology can also be configured for the production of high-thickness sheets.
Raw materials such as HDPE and PP can be used for the production of chemical tanks, automotive applications, technical components and various industrial products.
High molecular weight resins can contribute to improved physical and mechanical properties such as cutting, abrasion and impact resistance. Mineral fillers can also be incorporated into the process depending on product requirements.
Geomembrane Extrusion Lines
Bandera develops dedicated Flat Die extrusion lines for the production of smooth or textured geomembranes.
In geomembrane applications, resistance to atmospheric effects, mechanical properties and the preservation of weldable areas in field applications are important production criteria.
Bandera's geomembrane solutions can include line configurations for sheet widths of up to 8,000 mm.
Waterproofing Membranes
Multiple Flat Dies and dedicated lamination systems can be used for the production of multilayer composite waterproofing membranes.
Composite membranes for different technical requirements can be produced by combining plastic layers with textiles, synthetic support materials, reinforcement elements or specialized plastic layers.
These solutions can be configured for various waterproofing applications including foundations, tunnels, metro systems and swimming pools.
Automotive Applications
Bandera provides complete line solutions combining extrusion and lamination systems for sheet production in the automotive sector.
Different raw materials such as polyolefins, mineral fillers, stabilizers and plasticizers can be used according to process requirements. Co-rotating twin-screw extruders can be preferred particularly in applications where raw materials in different forms are processed.
Solar Panel Applications
Bandera also develops dedicated sheet production solutions for the extrusion of EVA inner layers used in solar panel production.
Single or multilayer sheet extrusion lines can be configured according to the product characteristics required by the solar panel structure.
