Bandera Alpha PP™ – High-Quality PP Film Extrusion Line
PP Film Production with High Transparency and Precise Layer Structure
Bandera Alpha PP™ is a Flat Die extrusion line developed for the production of high-quality rigid and flexible PP films.
It combines integrated Cast & Calendering technology with optional in-line film lamination and extrusion coating technology designed to optimize the processability of barrier resins.
Alpha PP™ is designed particularly for food and non-food packaging, Form-Fill-Seal (FFS), thermoforming, converting and industrial applications.
Integrated Cast & Calendering Technology
The integrated Cast & Calendering technology at the core of Alpha PP™ has been developed to achieve high product quality and precise process control in PP films.
Depending on production requirements, the line can be configured with an in-line film lamination system. This feature provides production flexibility for different film structures, particularly in FFS applications.
In addition, the extrusion coating equipment helps process barrier resins in a more controlled manner and enables precise formation of the layer structure within the film.

Thin Film Production with Alpha PP™
During production trials carried out by Bandera with the AlphaPP line, ultra-thin rigid PP film down to 175 µm was produced at a width of 1100 mm.
Bandera also states that PP film thicknesses down to 80 µm can be targeted in combination with SoftTouch® technology.
These values are based on specific line configurations and production trials and should not be considered standard capacities or guaranteed minimum thicknesses for every Alpha PP™ line.
