Accumulator-Head Extrusion Blow-Molding Machines - TA Series

TA Series accumulator-head extrusion blow-molding machines, with closed-frame symmetrical mold-closing units, have for many years been among ST BlowMoulding's flagship products under the ST Soffiaggio Tecnica, Zaga and Meico brands.

Most TA models are also available with a two-cylinder configuration, vertically aligned on both sides of the clamping unit. This design provides optimum distribution of clamping force, especially with tall molds. In response to customer requirements in this field, TA models with 3,600 kN clamping force have been developed for molds up to 3 meters high.

The TA Series uses the same melting technology as the ISIT Series: highly efficient adiabatic extruders that deliver high output with low energy consumption. The same accumulator heads are also used. Featuring stacked heart-shaped melt distributors, these heads are suitable for processing a wide range of plastic materials.

Variable-speed hydraulic pumps managed by the latest control software minimize energy consumption during machine movements.

Thanks to these design features, most TA Series models achieve the highest energy-efficiency class under the EUROMAP 46.1 procedure for extrusion blow-molding machines: Class 10 — below 0.29 kWh/kg HDPE.
