The TRENNSO-TECHNIK® WSB900 Eddy Current Separator is a specialized magnetic separation system developed for the high-precision separation of conductive non-ferrous metals from non-conductive materials.
The system is used particularly in recycling processes requiring high purity at ultra-fine particle sizes and enables the separation of small particles that are difficult for conventional eddy-current separators to recover.
The WSB900 generates high-frequency alternating magnetic fields that induce eddy currents in conductive non-ferrous metals. The resulting force impulses remove metal particles from the material stream in a controlled manner.
Unlike conventional eddy-current separators, the material is not projected straight forward. Thanks to the special eddy-current barrier design, particles are deflected laterally. This method reduces the adverse effect of air currents on separation and enables more precise results.
