Wood Recycling Lines
TRENNSO-TECHNIK® Wood Recycling Lines are complete recycling solutions developed for high-efficiency processing of waste wood from industrial, household and commercial sources and recovery of valuable raw materials contained within it.
Processed waste wood can be reused for electricity and heat generation in biomass energy plants, particleboard production and other wood-based material applications.
Recovery of Valuable Raw Materials
Separating the different materials contained in waste wood aims to recover recyclable fractions at high purity.
- Wood
- Iron and ferromagnetic metals
- Non-ferrous metals
- Foreign materials of different densities and sizes
Separation and Classification Technologies
TRENNSO-TECHNIK® offers modular system solutions that can combine different separation, screening, conveying and classification technologies according to the characteristics of the waste wood and the required final-product quality.
- Screening and classification systems
- Density-based separation systems
- Air separators
- Magnetic metal-separation systems
- Non-ferrous metal separators
- Conveyor and dosing systems
- Grinding and size-reduction systems
Screening and Size Classification
Screening systems separate shredded waste wood into different particle sizes, creating more controlled and homogeneous fractions for subsequent separation processes.
Depending on the application, different screen geometries and machine configurations can be used to classify the product into the required particle-size ranges.
Air Separation
Air separators are used to separate materials according to differences in specific gravity, shape and size.
Controlled airflow separates light and heavy fractions and helps reduce unwanted foreign materials in the wood product.
Metal Separation
Nails, screws, fasteners and other ferrous parts that may be present in waste wood can be removed using magnetic separation technologies.
Non-ferrous metal separators help recover valuable fractions such as aluminium and copper.
Modular Line Design
Each wood-recycling line can be configured according to feed-material characteristics, contamination level, particle size, production capacity and required final-product properties.
System solutions can range from individual machines to complete turnkey plants.
