Speedy and Snap Series Side-Entry Cartesian Robots
The Dal Maschio Speedy and Snap Series are high-speed Cartesian robot systems positioned beside the injection-moulding machine and entering/exiting the mould from the side. Side-entry architecture provides major advantages in production applications requiring short cycle times, limited overhead space and rapid part removal.
Main entry/exit and external stacking movements are performed by servo-controlled axes, while part-removal movements can be managed by pneumatic or electric systems depending on the application. The Speedy series focuses on compact, fast part-removal applications, while the Snap Tank family focuses particularly on IML and advanced packaging automation.
Speedy SE Series
Speedy SE is a compact side-entry robot mounted on the fixed platen of the injection-moulding machine. It combines high motion speed with a small footprint, providing an effective automation solution for fast-cycle injection applications.
The main motion axes and external vertical stacking axes are servo-controlled. Robot heads that remove parts from the mould operate pneumatically.
