General Features
The number of magnetic poles used depends on the particle size of the material to be separated. Our technical team will advise on the ideal magnetic-rotor configuration for each application.
It is recommended to install a magnetic separator for ferrous-metal removal upstream (overband magnet, magnetic pulley, magnetic drum, etc.). This protects the conveyor belt and magnetic rotor while ensuring optimum separation efficiency.
Typical examples:
- Separation of aluminium beverage cans from a dry recycling stream
- Removal of non-ferrous metals from shredded wood
- Removal of contaminants in glass recycling
- Separation of non-ferrous metals in the processing of automotive parts, foundry slag, foundry sand, household and industrial waste, and in municipal solid-waste recycling plants
Key features:
- All IDEMAG eddy-current separators are designed and manufactured for optimum performance and maximum service life.
- To improve the separation process, we can also provide vibratory feeders to distribute the product uniformly across the separator.
- The conveyor belt is made of high-quality PVC for maximum durability and efficiency.
The modular system for the eddy-current separator, designed and manufactured entirely by IDEMAG, ensures seamless integration of all components for optimum magnetic separation.
